An "Atlas Shrugged" Moment?

I am not much of a fan of Ayn Rand, but with this weekend's head on train collision and impending black Monday, the result of corruption and socialized mortgages (everyone has the 'right' to own a home)it seems eerily reminiscent of Atlas Shrugged. One "slight" detail Rand got wrong:: the 'Altas's would be going to the government for help.

One thing is for sure:: the repubs and free market loving (for main street that is) wall street types will NEVER be able to oppose socialization on idealogical grounds again.
